I attended this gathering upon invitation, and observed neutrally. I was invited by elected regional representatives consequent to our discussion of UCC Redemption, consequent to their observation of the status of my automobile.
The evening's guest speaker was Henry Noa, whom I had previously heard present on the island of O'ahu back in the late 1990s when I had been participating with Hawaiian sovereignty groups, before I moved to Kaua'i just prior to Y2K and focussed my sovereignty energy into independent sovereignty via the UCC Redemption of Title process instead of the efforts on a national level to redress the wrongs acknowledged in U.S. Public Law 103-150, the illegal overthrow of the de jure Kingdom of Hawai'i, then a constitutional monarchy and caste society system.
With only minor functional matters addressed by the local island representatives as prelude and postscript to the main presentation by Henry Noa, and the end of his presentation spent fielding questions from the audience, the bulk of the 2 hour meeting was Henry's presentation, self professed to be the delivery of very good news for the Reinstated Hawaiian Nation, and that being in many ways the culmination of 4 years of hard work by the "citizens", covering exactly the timespan I had been ignoring Hawaiian National sovereignty, after having concluded in 1999 that the Kanaka Maoli and Native Hawaiian people were far too divided on having it according to the terms and conditions of their own little groups, to come together in their own common interest to actually succeed as a unified nation. Given that the Kanaka Maoli now constitute only about 2% of the population of "their islands", operating in a nonunified manner in attempting to have their nation restored, even with the support of a number of Native Hawaiians and supporters, simply is such a long shot, that any divisions amongst this minority are far too wasteful of energy in support of ego based agendas when they need to pool their mana into a unified cocreation.

So, what was Henry's great good news?... that this group has outlasted the other sovereignty groups, and is better organized, and is closer to the goal, and knows what it is doing, than anything ever has been since the overthrow of Queen Liliuokalani. He's claiming that they're getting very close to actually doing what a reinstated nation would and should do: to issue priveleges to its' citizens (more so than those granted by the State of Hawai'i), and to provide these citizens with access to the specially reserved land of the nation, which is now entrusted to the State of Hawai'i, which has failed to deliver to the Kanaka Maoli and Native Hawaiians their rightfully due benefits of that trust. If this is such great news, and the goal so close, what yet stands between today's status and the great San{g R, Gr}eal of sovereignty? Well, that's not a short answer or simple question.
The poorness of the Reinstated Hawaiian Nation was one of Henry's main points. The group has been operating without funding so that it has not been paying its' bills, exemplified by the loss of a European supporter who will no longer even reply to e-mails. The request of the representatives of the citizens to the citizens is that they need to buy or sell $1/day/citizen of Bonds to support the operation of their government. Meanwhile, they're pondering where they can get twice the expected $50,000/lawsuit startup costs to initiate becoming wards of the British Crown through representation by BAR (British Accreditation Registry) Esquires whom they hope will twist the law (attorn) in their favor to get recognition by Uncle Sam (an agent of the British Crown) of their right to use the land and travel upon the public highways, and that the whole process of re-in-state-ing "the Reinstated Hawaiian Nation" (just ignore that their name claims it is already done) depends upon expensive legal representation which they cannot afford and have no way to fund, which if accepted renders them wards of the court, rather than sovereigns.
So, it's reinstated in that they held elections of representatives, but they have not yet begun the process they have chosen to persue as the path to reinstating sovereignty. The path they have chosen is to become wards of the court of the enemy that now occupies their land, as they persue gaining control of the land. Can you say "mixed agendae"?
So, they're simultaneously citizens of the Kingdom of Hawai'i, and the State of Hawai'i. Can you say: "conflict of interest"? And they wonder why they're not making progress? They're all still contracted with "the state", (via motor vehicle registration), while simultaneously claiming to have expatriated from the state and to now be citizens of the "Reinstated Nation of Hawai'i".
I hear spoken words of heartfelt soul's truth in conviction that they are a people under duress seeking relief, and an alternative where they are not the losers in a Catch-22 situation... but Catch-22 was only a binary lose-lose proposition, whereas these folks have a Catch-33 of triple agenda. So, what we see is that the individuals involved have within themselves split agendae, and that cannot create in their joined cocreation anything but split agendae, so, the bottom line remains, they have not come together in a unification of will... and until they achieve a unification of will, they cannot successfully cocreate.
I would suggest that it is necessary to use the exit procedure of the U.S. to accomplish a full expatriation, and that involves ending all contracts entered into in a manner which damages sovereignty or rights, and from the free place of expatriate from the U.S., come together into citizenship in the Kingdom of Hawai'i, then reinstatement of the Kingdom then becomes possible, and once it is reinstated, it becomes possible to alter it... for it can only be reinstated out of recess in the form in which it existed at the time it went into recess upon the overthrow of Queen Liliuokalanai. I believe the step that may have been missed is the UCC-1 Security Agreement Filing which terminates all the trusteeship whereby the flesh and blood human was held as surety against the trust named by their name in all upper case, thus establishing the human as a sovereign capable of expatriation, and once an expatriate capable of new allegiance, otherwise the new allegiance is only a 2nd lien upon his already clouded title.
Over the more than a century of militarily enforced occupation and administration of Hawai'i by the Uncle Sam and Japanese agents of the NWO, one of the tricks used to subjugate the Kanaka Maoli to the commercial corporate government was offering them cheap State supplied water (wai) if they'd only sign under their name in all capital letters, thereby "legally" agreeing to be dead corporate entites with no rights, thereby extinguishing the people of the Kingdom of Hawai'i in "legal" standing so that they are not of status to come forward as living beings of clean title (holder in due course of title of their bodies) to make any claim to be living human subjects of the Kingdom of Hawai'i. We know now that there is a legal remedy: Redemption of Title to become Holder in Due Course by the UCC-1 filing of a Security Agreement. If Kanakas became living beings again in commercial status, they would actually have standing to reinstate their nation.
The fundamental issue here is the dichotomy between sovereignty and dependence. Everyone is coming together in dependent mode seeking to get sovereignty from outside themself... from Ke Akua, from a representative democratically elected, from a restored constitutional monarchy caste system, from The State of Commercial Slavery, from other nations... "somebody please give me my sovereignty". If I just join the right group or submit to the right master, I can become sovereign, right? Pretty please with poi on top?
This modality has been endemic the whole time. The dependent slaves want a better master who will treat them better and give them better benefits, and they bandy about the word sovereignty, not as a personal state, but as the antidote to the abuses of the current slave master... they want the sovereignty of choosing a new slavemaster who will treat them better. Please give me back my old body of man's law, and let me elect a new slavemaster to grant me priveleges, better than the current slavemaster does.
Sovereignty is the condition of adulthood, is the opposite of dependency. If you want to live as a sovereign, you must give up dependency upon a caretaker. You must grow up and act like an adult. Sovereignty is inside your own soul. Nobody can or will give it to you, for it is only illusion that they hold it. You can become the holder in due course of title of your life, but only by claiming it as a fully self-responsible sovereign. If you wish to have a sovereign nation, you must realize that it can only come about, by a gathering of sovereigns. A bunch of slaves gathering to form a nation, cannot create a sovereign nation.
A monarchy (or any -archy) is inconsistent with sovereignty.
A caste system (ali'i vs commoner) is inconsistent with sovereignty.
A democracy is inconsistent with sovereignty.

Everyone has the sovereign spiritual power to choose if they make any allegiance, and if so, with whom, and to what. No matter how many allegiances one chooses to make, with no matter how many or which other entities, neither the individual nor the group, has the right to impose the contracts they've made with each other upon those who have not voluntarily joined their contract. That means one can't impose one's contract upon others without harming them in the process.
